Framework Detection

Most scripts auto-detect your framework:

Lua
-- This happens automaticallyif GetResourceState('qb-core') == 'started' then    Framework = 'qb'elseif GetResourceState('es_extended') == 'started' then    Framework = 'esx'end

You can also force a specific framework in config:

Lua
Config.Framework = 'qb-core' -- Force QBCore

Cross-Framework Features

We use abstraction layers to ensure consistent behavior:

Dependencies

Required for All Frameworks

  • ox_lib - Modern UI library
  • oxmysql - Database connector
  • ox_target - Interaction system
  • ox_inventory - Modern inventory

Standalone Mode

Some scripts offer standalone mode:

Lua
Config.Framework = 'standalone'

This disables framework-specific features but allows basic functionality.

Migration Guide

Moving from ESX to QBCore

  1. Update Config.Framework = 'qb-core'
  2. Ensure QBCore equivalents are installed
  3. Run any provided migration scripts
  4. Test thoroughly

Moving from QBCore to QBox

QBox is largely compatible with QBCore:

  1. Most configs work without changes
  2. Update inventory references if needed
  3. Test all features
